If you ever wondered just how much gear you can load on a full size Rock "N" Roller cart, here's a classic example from today's job.

The bottom row holds:
1. laptop computer
2. accessories bag with mics, foot switches, cables, etc..
3. Bose sub
4. Console (in red bag)
5. Bose L1 base unit

The keyboard sits atop the subwoofer, the bose towers sit atop the keyboard, and the heavy-duty X-stand sits on the towers. (The towers are on their sides so no pressure is placed upon the speaker grills)

On top of the X stand is the fan (An absolute must for all nusring home jobs, and the X-stand is anchored in place with the folding chair that is hooked to one of the cart's handles. Also, on this day, I hauled the "Bob The Flame" along with it's stand, which is atop the X-stand as well.

Lots of gear, setup time is less than 12 minutes most days, load and unload time is just under 4 minutes (quicker when it's freezing cold!).

One trip to the van does it all--thank goodness for the Rock "N: Roller.

Merry Christmas everyone--just 5 more parties till Christmas day.

Gary

hmmm..here's all I take:

-kn2600 carried under my arm, w/ dust cover, no case =25.5 lbs.incl internal speakers (which serve as my monitors, I plug my vocal mic into kb input)

-JBL Eon10 w/ a little Behringer mixer and reverb unit sitting on top of eon, powerstrip, patchcord and mic cord already attached, bungeed to a light plastic luggage roller, never take it apart...just lift it all onto speaker stand.
total weight=38 lbs.

x-stand and telescopic lightweight speaker stand, plus short mic boom that attaches to any x-stand (great little space-saver)

-bag w/mics, extension cords, extra cables, cd's, tip jar, pedals, folding flute stand for sopranino sax.

-little Eb sopranino sax

-the biggest, heaviest, and best-sounding piece of equipment I own: me

-Happy Holidays to all

Lookin' good, Gary. My transport is very similar... wouldn't go anywhere without my RNR or fan. Here's a tip for all RNR users... make sure the large wheels are fully inflated. Makes for a smoother, easier ride.

Merry Christmas and cheers to all.

It's stored in the small, red bag!

Cheers,

Gary, great compact setup. Amazing what you stack on that. Going back 2 years ago I bought a similar convertible hand truck from Home Depot for $59. At the time I had no idea the Rock n Roller was available. The disadvantage to my set up is that equipment has to be stacked on an angle then secured with 2 bungee cords not as efficient as the rock n roller, but it does the job.
